The 419 Nigerian Scamerator provides a powerful single web screen display that allows you to take a scam email and plug it into a carefully formatted report that you can send to the email service provider. If you are not sure where to report it, don't worry. That is built in to the ScamerAtor 419 Nigerian ScanerAtor runs under any web browser.
The 419 Automated Reporter runs under Windows using Firefox. It will automatically scan a scam email, work out what email addresses are used, decide where to post a complaint, and send the complaint off to any one of 600 email service providers. ˙The complaint will be formatted in the manner that each service provider requires. Furthermore, it uses a statistical analysis to identify the type of scam, and includes the result in the complaint. This speeds up the processing time, shortening the life of the email address.
By reporting scams to the email service provider promptly, the likelihood of fraud is greatly reduced.
The reporters come in 2 modules. One sources the scams from a Gmail account's spam folder, automatically selecting one after another and processing them The other suits the situation where the scam email is from another mail system,. It will source the scam mails from files in a folder, and can process as many as you like in one run, taking the list of files to process from a control file.
Over the first 2 months of 2012, there have been an estimated 10,000 email addresses suspended as a direct result of these tools. ˙
