Fire Art Festa

On one of our “dark days” (no production in the TV compound) we stumbled upon this beautiful display at Gyeongpo Beach, a 10 minute taxi from our accommodations. We walked the hole length of the installation-about 20 sculptures. Made mostly of wood and straw, many of these are to be burned during the weeks of the Olympic Games. Artists were from all over the world. Many of them were themed on the synergy between human and nature. Stunning to see up close! Enjoy these photos.
